February 03 Congratulations and Big HonourI would like to say Congratulations to sensei Ian who gained his 3rd Dan this weekend 02/02/08 , this sensei deserved this grade more than anyone and i know it was a painful one for him as he has a few porblems with his knees threw arthuritus he also a year and a bit ago had a hip operation so a big well done to you Sensei.
I would also like to thank sensei Ian for agreeing with Sensei Brian who put my name forward to the WBK/UMA Association for going for 3rd Dan a year early, this is a big honour and not many black belts get to do such a thing but the associaton agreed to let me go for it a year early.
Both me and Sensei Ian had to start the grading over a few days, we started back in November 07 and our final exam was on the 02/02/08 were i am please to announce i was honoured with my 3rd Dan.
I would like to say a big thank you to the UMA for allowing me this BIG Honour but most of all i would like to Say thank you Sensei Brian for believing in me and for saying i was ready and good enough for this Dan.
I also want to thank the people who helped me in 07 that was there that stud in to be thrown around. The real big thank you is to the 8th kyu who helped out after not that long joining the Bridlington Wado Ryu club who was thrown in at the deepend and was asked to help by letting me demonstrate nerve attacks and Bunkai of Kata on "thank you Sempi Al D" .
Also to my students at The Rising Sun School in Goole who have been a very big help and thank you for all your support "Thank You"
